Lucapa Unearths 203-Carat Gem at Lulo

Lucapa Diamond has uncovered a 203-carat Type IIa diamond at its Lulo mine in Angola, where it holds a 40% stake, Rough & Polished reports.

This diamond is the fifth largest and the 43rd over 100-carat diamond to be found at the Lulo alluvial operations since commercial mining began in 2015.

The 203-carat Type IIa diamond was recovered from run-of-mine stockpiled ore, following the recent discovery of 162 and 116-carat diamonds on consecutive days last month.
